Baby Shower Cakes

Always a happy occasion, baby showers are my very favorite cakes to do!

Covered in buttercream with all buttercream piped designs.  Chocolate diaper pins and royal icing flowers add to the finished cake.

A very interesting cake, if you're looking for something different.  This mobile cake is two layers high, iced with buttercream  with fondant accents on sides.  Cake will serve 50-60 people.

A baby shower gift cake!  This little package is full of baby items made of fondant....onesie, booties, pacifier, and wash clothes.  Such a memorable cake for the mom-to-be! More close-ups below!

A cute cake for a jungle theme.   Animals are done in chocolate, the rest of the cake is buttercream.

Another version of the mobile cake, except this one was designed around ducks to match the party theme.   Chocolate molded ducks are edible (and delicious!).

Designed to match the tableware bought for the shower, the background of this buttercream iced cake was airbrushed on.  Sugar dough booties were added and chocolate pins, buttons, and blocks finished off the cake perfectly.  Sugar dough booties are a wonderful keepsake for the mom-to-be.  These booties can be kept for years to come, if kept out of humidity and dust-free.

I really love this design for a boy baby shower.  Chocolate molded bat, balls and letters.  Fondant molded teddy looks so real!

For a beach themed baby shower.  Iced in buttercream, with bucket made of cake, all other decorations molded of chocolate or fondant.  Sand made of graham crackers and granulated sugar.

Iced in buttercream icing, the design itself is piped onto a chocolate plaque that the mom-to-be can save for later.  Buttercream roses add interest to the corners.

A favorite design, these babies under blankets always delight your guests.  Completely edible, these babies are made of sugar dough and covered with a sugar dough blanket.   They can also be saved for many years to come.
